Bella Figura’s New Offerings

I saw the new designs for Bella Figura via Ellie of Mint today and loved what I saw.

The new designs are from extremely talented designers such as Erin Jang, Jessica Hische, and Ellie herself! There are so many amazing additions… so hard to pick just one to show you! Be sure to see them all on the Bella Figura website.

Rustic & Gorgeous from The Perky Bros.

I cannot get over the typography. I am absolutely floored by this wedding invitation set produced by the amazing Studio on Fire and designed by the super talented groom Jefferson Perky of Perky Bros. The invite was offset with the wood grain pattern and then the type was letter pressed. A save the date, invite, accommodations card, custom belly band and thank you card were produced. See more of this suite on Beast Pieces.

Studio on Fire : Neel & Neerja

Sorry the site’s been out of whack the past few days. Thank you to everyone who has been so kind as to alert me of the issue via emails and Twitter. (And extra shouts to Stefan who was kind enough to fix it for me.)

Now that that’s out of the way, please allow me to indulge in some navel gazing and blatant endorsing… I recently had the immense pleasure of working with Ben & Selina over at Studio on Fire to produce a pretty complicated invitation I designed for an upcoming wedding. Seriously, if anyone is looking for a printer, pleeaaaase drop them a line because they were so attentive, thorough and all around lovely people to work with.

Ben & Selina recently did a write up of the invitations they produced for me on their blog, Beast Pieces if you’d like to check it out and see more photos.

Good Stock

Loved the hard-bound books that Kim offers at Good Stock… going through the custom books is very inspiring. Loved the custom book she made for the man who wrote letters through his life and always signed them, “Always, James” … the bindings look so gorgeous as well.

It seems that soon, she’ll be offering totally elegant accordion photo books. I really loved the way she’s executed these books. Be sure to also check out the gorgeously designed book templates as well. (via Jordan)

Accordion books will be offered soon through Good Stock.

Meli & Angi

When my friend Jina told me about Meli & Angi, I was absolutely floored. Jina was also kind to remind me that they baked the cookies from her wedding and I immediately remembered the deliciousness.

The precise lettering is so amazing. Check out the monogrammed cookies they can make for weddings! Total icing perfection.

Love, Jenna

Saw Jenna’s calligraphy via Brooklyn Bride. Jenna has done work for Anthropologie and Real Simple. She’s based in Brooklyn. Loved the carefree swoopy curves.

Michelle Rago

Loved the work of Michelle Rago, an event specialist based in New York. Attention to detail and innovative use of materials for various event elements are so interesting. The above is from a wedding held in Manchester Village, Vermont.

Palindrome Press

Spied Alisha’s work from Palindrome Press on Brooklyn Bride and had to post… The work is so unlike most studios… and it’s totally amazing. Chelsea & Ben’s invite above is my favorite. See Palindrome Press’ Etsy shop here. Please also note that Alisha is offering a 15% discount on custom orders placed this month.

Monogram Inc.

I’ve been becoming obsessed lately with the idea of a custom drawn monogram. I came across the work of Caroline Brackenridge of Monogram Inc. and loved the antique linen-inspired designs. Gorgeous.

Style Me Pretty’s Inspiration Boards

I know many of you have been following phase two of Abby’s Inspiration Board Contest at Style Me Pretty. Voting has begun and will close on Friday so be sure to vote!

Amanda's coral-inspired board.

Two Paperdolls

Gorgeous work at Two Paperdolls. I particularly love how they show lots of elements from the weddings such as calligraphed place cards and designed drink coasters.

The Weddings Issue

Namrita & Roman’s wedding in California mixed the traditions of both of their heritages for a Mexican-Indian celebration that was truly stunning. This installment in Nirali Magazine, we bring you inside four real and stunning South Asian weddings plus, we’ve compiled guides on South Asian beauty and wedding photography and so much more.

We met so many brides with outstanding advice for throwing a big fat desi wedding in North America while putting together this issue that we compiled the best in a handy article. (Be sure to check out even more advice from South Asian brides in the next installment on June 18th as well as three more beautiful weddings, a guide for wedding shopping in South Asia and a guide to buying wedding jewelry!)

I thought many of you might like to see this issue… There are slideshows for many of the articles featuring a lot of wonderful wedding photographers. The amount of vendors featured is quite wide. You can find references for anyone from elephant rentals to wedding documentary filmmakers to mehndi artists to luxury event coordinators. See all ten articles in this installment of Nirali Magazine’s Wedding Issue on NiraliMagazine.com. Enjoy!
