The wallpaper from British designer Jocelyn Warner is so gorgeous. Love the finishes and patterns here. Some beautiful botanical inspired stuff as well as freehand scribbles. Lovely color combinations as well. (Why am I so obsessed with wallpaper all of a sudden?)
Five and a Half
Five and a Half collects found papers and binds them into one-of-a-kind pocket sized journals. I love notebooks like these… satisfies the paper junkie in me. They also add in pockets and mini booklets made from leftover papers. Simply designed to really showcase the papers. Lovely stuff. Available in various stores in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Naked & Angry Does Wallpaper
I posted about Naked & Angry before during their Series One which featured neckties made from user submitted patterns. Patterns are submitted and then voted upon by the community to then be made into products. (They are affiliated with Threadless.) The first series featured limited-edition neckties and the second series, which just came out, features hand-screened wallpaper. Gorgeous. Anyone looking for a great source, look no further. There are five patterns to choose from, my two top favorites are above. Lovely stuff. (via Outblush)
Heavenly Scales by Richard Lee. Old Timey Tiley by Ray Fenwick. $60 for one double roll of hand-screened paper that covers 65 square feet.
Behnaz Sarafpour for Target’s GO! International
I heart Cheap and Chic. (Moschino, I heart you too.) I have been loving all these Cheap Chic lines lately. Everyday I seem to hear of a new collaboration. Viktor & Rolf + H&M. Vivienne Westwood and Thakoon + Nine West. Love the combinations. This is kind of old news but a preview of the new Behnaz Sarafpour line for Target’s GO! International that’s due out this fall is up on the Target website. Lots of lady-like loveliness that we expect from Behnaz plus lots of lace inspired stuff. I think it’s my favorite yet. (And I so want that coat and that duffel.)

Max Brenner’s Hug Mug
I went to Max Brenner in Union Square last night and had a delightful dinner. Absolutely loved the design in the restaurant and the drinking vessels that are specially designed for drinking the various chocolate drinks. I ordered the Dark Chocolate hot chocolate in the Hug Mug (pictured above) which is a handle-less mug that is designed to be held cupped in your hands. Loved the shape of the mugs and the saucers and the weight and proportions were perfect. The mugs are available for sale at the restaurant as well as the other custom ceramic-ware. Great place, definitely going back.
Max Brenner Hug Mug, $18.50 for a cup and saucer.
Dear Olive
Dear Olive letterpress studio has these gorgeous letterpress limited-edition prints of seashells. Each print is a reproduction of a 19th-century engraving, exquisitely rendered in letterpress. The level of detail is stunning. Love the range of color as well. Also check out their cards, many of which are based on illustrations from the New Yorker and Harper’s Bazaar.
Imperial Volute. Sand Dollar, Sea Urchin, Scallop Shell. Channeled Volute. Solarium. Each print is $45 unframed or $125 framed. Edition of 250.
Wow Gee Golly!
Thanks so much Domino for making Love Made Visible an Instant Bookmark! I’m beyond flattered. Be sure to check out the two fab blogs that are also Instant Bookmarks this month: The Sartorialist and Domestically Inclined.
Bari Zaki’s Envelopes
While leafing through the September books I came across these great envelopes. Bari Zaki has affixed vintage postage to her envelopes that are completely mailable with no additional postage required. Each envelope is one-of-a-kind… the ones shown are examples of what one might recieve. The envelopes themselves are reproductions of various envelopes she herself has received. Such a wonderful idea for distinctive correspondence!
Large Bureau de Poste, $10 for one envelope with card and mailing label at Greer Chicago. Also available in a smaller size for $8.
Anthropologie’s Fall Dressing
The craziness has extended to this week. However, I just got the new email from Anthropologie for the Fall Dressing catalog (which, no doubt, will be waiting for me when I get home today.) and it literally made me stop what I was doing. In true Anthro fashion, the stylists for the new dresses catalog rock and the clothes…. well. The clothes are exquisite. I had a devil of a time figuring out which spread to show and settled on the above. The dress on the right is an absolute stunner. (And that model as well. Gorgeous!) Okay. Now back to the grind…
Lurex Minidress, $168. Passementerie Dress, $458.
Jen Garrido
Such a crazy week for me. I apologize for neglecting this…. I was looking at d*s and saw that Grace had posted about the paintings of Jen Garrido. These are totally swoon-worthy and I had to post them here too. Great color combinations, great compositions and form. So graphic… reminds me of this Marimekko fabric but with an edge plus gorgeous textures. Beautiful stuff.

New Cards @ Good on Paper!
Lisa from Good on Paper emailed me this morning to announce her new line of screened cards. The cards feature an adorable bird motif and are printed with vegetable inks on recycled paper. Great color combinations, as always. Lisa also has a new card called With You All the Way that she designed in the memory of her cousin Gary. 100% of the proceeds of this card benefit the American Cancer Society.
Clockwise from top left: Blue Bird Notecard, Feathers Notecard, Red Bird Notecard, Magnolia Notecard. All cards $4.25 each or $18 for a box of 8.
Canvas Storage @ West Elm
Love the new canvas storage at West Elm. Looks like they’re taking up the lost business now-defunct Hold Everything used to secure. These storage boxes look a lot like the book board collection HE used to carry and it’s a good thing… those were fabulous. Great colors and crisp shiny hardware plus I’m loving the new Kenya print.
Magazine Butler, $19 each.
