Bella Figura’s New Offerings

I saw the new designs for Bella Figura via Ellie of Mint today and loved what I saw.

The new designs are from extremely talented designers such as Erin Jang, Jessica Hische, and Ellie herself! There are so many amazing additions… so hard to pick just one to show you! Be sure to see them all on the Bella Figura website.

Lonny Magazine

I know Domino is dead and gone but former Domino editor and blogger Michelle Adams has just launched Lonny Magazine, an online-only home magazine.

The first issue’s been out for a few weeks and I’m slow on the uptake these days but it’s really an amazing thing she and her partner-in-crime Patrick Cline have managed to put together. I love that each story has tons of photos accompanying and really shows a range of tastes. (First issue includes the homes of Eddie Ross, Grace Bonney, Ron Marvin and former Domino EIC Deborah Needleman.) It’s bookmarked!

From the first issue of Lonny Magazine. Shown is a spread from the story on Eddie Ross and Jaithan Kochar's home in the country.

Daily Drop Cap

Type Queen Jessica Hische has started a great blog called Daily Drop Cap as a daily typographic exploration. Each work day she will post a decorative drop cap for free use on blog posts. She’s got the first three letters of the alphabet up so far and I can’t wait to see more from her!

Rustic & Gorgeous from The Perky Bros.

I cannot get over the typography. I am absolutely floored by this wedding invitation set produced by the amazing Studio on Fire and designed by the super talented groom Jefferson Perky of Perky Bros. The invite was offset with the wood grain pattern and then the type was letter pressed. A save the date, invite, accommodations card, custom belly band and thank you card were produced. See more of this suite on Beast Pieces.

Naeem Khan Spring 2010

According to the review, Naeem Khan described his collection as “Punk Raj” … how perfect! Loved the touches of hot pink and all that intricate embroidery work.

Ralph Lauren Spring 2010

It’s funny, whenever I see Ralph Lauren‘s clothes, each collection’s references might be different but that American aesthetic always shines through. Loved all the blues in his collection for Spring.
