Eva Zeisel’s Magic Language

I have been coveting these limited-edition art prints by my favorite ceramicist, Eva Zeisel (in collaboration with Klein/Reid) ever since I saw them online at Apartment Therapy… A few weekends ago I was delighted to be able to see them in person at the Cooper-Hewitt (across from the entrance of the gift shop) and fell in love with them all over again. After lots of pondering about the purchase I finally went ahead and bought one! (Magic Language #2!) So excited!

"Magic Language #1 and #2, 2005, silkscreen print, edition of 300. Shadowbox, archival frame, 32x24" each frame. Purchased as a pair with same editioned number. $1,100."

Julie West

The work of Julie West is available for purchase at her online shop Sno. For sale are limited edition giclee, serigraph and gocco prints as well as stationery and tote bags. Her work has great line quality and the papers she uses to print are all gorgeous. Each gocco print, for example, is printed on its own unique sheet of paper. No two prints are alike.

Arkitip

Haven’t been to the design resource, Arkitip in awhile and was pleasantly surprised that they are carrying silkscreened limited-edition prints. Some gorgeous work on here, particularly the work from Evan Hecox.

PushMePullYou Design

PushMePullYou Design is a very talent-filled silscreen shop devoted to designing and producing silkscreened band posters and fine art. I especially love the set of prints based on Aesop fables.

Tiny Showcase!

Tiny Showcase periodically chooses talented artists, produces one of their pieces and sells them in limited editions for $20. Each piece is around 6″ square and is rendered gorgeously on fine papers with cutting-edge printing techonlogy. The artists each choose a worthy charity to send parts of the proceeds to. Sign up for the newsletter and get alerts for when new prints are added Tuesday evenings. Buy quickly, they sell out fast.
