Oliver Brinn

Beautiful work from Oliver Brinn. Delicately designed baby announcements with a vintage feel. Love all the flourishes lately and gorgeous scripts. The above are two of the four styles available. The announcements come with matching envelopes imprinted with return address and sticker seal. Lovely!

The Ella and Avery announcement styles.

Kate Spade Stationery

I got a note from a friend to check up on the Kate Spade stationery available at Crane’s. So glad I did! I cannot begin to tell you how inspiring this collection is. The selection above of the personalized correspondence cards do not even begin to show the variety of great colors and patterns available. The cards are letterpressed or engraved and there are so many styles to choose from. I personally love the idea of matching calling cards… so chic. The gray cards above feature return addresses pressed into the backs of the cards that show through the little window on the envelope. Genius! Gorgeous stuff.

Vintage Correspondence Cards, $524 for 50 letterpressed cards with windowed envelopes. Garden Bough Correspondence Cards, $323 for 50 engraved cards and envelopes.

Miguelina

Miguelina‘s clothes are so gorgeous and the spring collection in particular is light and airy with lots of hand embroidery and linen material. Love the detail and high-contrast effect of the embellished tops and the breezy lacy dresses. Beautiful clothes. The above are available on Shop.Style.com.

Holly, $230. Lila, $195. Heidi, $355.

The Namesake!

The trailer for Mira Nair’s The Namesake is out and it’s making me so excited. The film is based on the book by the same name by acclaimed writer Jhumpa Lahiri. The movie stars the amazing Tabu as well as Kal Penn and deals with the identity issues that a boy (Penn) has who grows up in America with a Russian name in an Indian household. See Penn’s blog, which was written during the shooting of The Namesake, here.

Ashima (Tabu) gives birth to Gogol Ganguli. Ashoke (Irfan Khan) looks on.

A Collage A Day

Randel Plowman‘s A Collage A Day has such beautiful work. Everyday a new 4×4 collage is posted for sale for $25 which includes gallery matting, documentation and free shipping within the US. The collages themselves are comprised of found type, illustrations and patterns. Love it to death.

Ceste, $25. N & N, $25.

Splash Lights

How hot would these lights look in a pool for a summer pool party? Or a reception by a pool? Or anything by a freaking pool? The Splash Lights are made by CB2 and feature frosted domes which house bright LED lights. The lights can be mounted or floated. Hot to death.

Splash Lights, $10 for two. (via Outblush)
