Lillian Bassman

Lillian Bassman is a fashion illustrator-turned-fashion photographer. She worked quite closely with Alexey Brodovich at Harper’s Bazaar from the 1940s to the 1960s. Her work is defined by a very painterly style. One of my all-time favorites.

Bird Lady Anneliese Seubert, German Vogue 2000. Wonders of Water Harper's Bazaar, New York 1959.

I love the photo, “Wonders of Water”.
Any idea on how I can get a print of it?
I first saw it in an American Photography mag.
    Thanks, neat website.
