Alvin Lustig Limited Edition Prints

Alvin Lustig was one of the greatest graphic designers of our time. Available now on his website are limited-edition prints of some of his well-known book covers. Gorgeous color, composition and typography. Screenprinted by master printer, Luther Davis, “Colors were mixed by hand to match the original jackets from the 1940’s and printed on high quality 100% Cotton (lightly textured, soft white) Archival Coventry Rag (335gsm) using water-based inks and enamel black.” Gorgeous stuff. I’d love to have one on my wall.

Left to right from top row: A Season In Hell by Arthur Rimbaud, 1945. Three Lives by Gertrude Stein, 1945. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, 1945. Amerika by Franz Kafka, 1946. All prints $100 each. Limited edition of 100.
