Reef Tea Set

I got the latest Anthropologie catalog in the mail and absolutely loved the Reef Tea Set. How perfect would this be for summer? I’m imagining this set at my (very imaginary) house on the Cape. Sigh. So beautiful.

Teapot, $68. Cup & Saucer, $18. Sugar Bowl, $18. Creamer, $18.

The Card Society

From Mav comes the Card Society, a month-to-month subscription of limited-edition letterpressed cards. Each month members receive two cards with envelopes. The cards are produced especially for society members and never get reproduced again. Such a great idea… especially for gifts for people who love letterpress and the cards at Port2Port. (via Oh Joy!)

Various cards Mav produces. The Society cards are cards that share the style of the illustrated cards pictured.

Small & Round

Jeremiah Ketner’s Small & Round paintings are ridiculously adorable and oh-so-colorful. I love the charming little figures and the playful botanical-inspired patterns in the backgrounds.

A Day Late…

I got stuck in Mexico for an extra day! We arrived to the airport to come back to the States on Monday and were told that we were bumped off our flight and that there were no other flights available until Tuesday afternoon. We were a bit nervous with the idea of the shady airline putting us up in a hotel but it ended up being the hotel pictured above. Gorgeous place, great food. We couldn’t stay mad for too long. So now I’m back but buried under the work that I’ve missed. I hope to get back to you all later today but in case not, you can see my pictures from my trip on my Flickr.

The Omni in Cancún. Great food, great staff. We were only there a day and enjoyed it immensely.

Off to Playa del Carmen…

I am off to Mexico for my girl Jeena‘s bachelorette party. I won’t be back till Tuesday but until then, peep the few photos I did manage to take at ICFF this year at my Flickr account. In my absence please visit Petri Dish, the lovely Joy, oh so Happy Mundane and Design*Sponge‘s continuing coverage of ICFF (with video later this week!). Have a great Memorial Day weekend.

Gnarls Barkley

I have a new favorite in Gnarls Barkley, the collaboration between DJ Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo. Can’t stop listening to their album, St. Elsewhere on repeat. What I really really really loved is their video for Crazy where singing faces emerge from evolving Rorschach Ink Blots. Click the above to view. (Go to “Music Videos” once the player loads.) Hear more Gnarls Barkley on their MySpace.
