Kareem Iliya

Absolutely loved the work of Kareem Iliya… reminds me of Mats Gustafson but with bolder patterns. These watercolor illustrations are so inspiring. Great color sense… great everything, really. (via Juniper)

Mimi Ko‘s photography is so gorgeous. The above were my two favorite shots in her portfolio. Gorgeous delicate color and fabulous light.

Binth One-of-a-Kind Prints

Love these one-of-a-kind prints, made by essentially test printing existing artwork Binth already has in stock. Saw it first from Grace last month but hadn’t gotten a chance to really look at them till now. Beautiful imagery and great color combinations. Buy your favorite before someone else does.

"Decline of the Lawn" and "Underwater Pudding", $45 each.

Mumbai Travel Notebook for Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton has added a new book to its series of travel notebooks, this one of Mumbai. I love these books… I recently bought the New York book illustrated by one of my favorite illustrators, Ruben Toldeo. The Mumbai book is illustrated by Florine Asche and is teeming with gorgeous watercolor illustrations based on the artist’s travels in Mumbai. Fantastic stuff, really and truly. The book is currently sold out but is in production for a reprinting and should be available soon in stores nationwide. Mili wrote a lovely piece about it in our new issue of Nirali Magazine out now…. be sure to check out the article and our new issue.

Mumbai Travel Notebook, $79.

Bodo Sperlein

Saw Bodo Sperlein‘s work for Lladró in a new special issue of House & Garden and after googling him, found his work quite impressive. I especially loved the Golden Forest fine china set he designed for Germany’s Dibbern. In all, his work shows great shapes with fantastic classic silhouettes and lovely spare and modern patterns.

Golden Forest tableware, €32,00 to €282,00

Si Scott

There is something lovely about hand lettering and embellishment as evidenced by the work of Si Scott… while looking through the work in the folio, an appreciation for hand lettering is truly realized. Be sure to watch the reel in which a piece is drawn from beginning to end. Beautiful stuff.
