Yigal Azrouël Spring 2007

Ahh Fashion Week has begun! I loved Yigal Azrouël’s show for the last Fashion Week and was so delighted that he didn’t disappoint this time around. Fantastic silhouettes (love that he kept proportions so consistent.) and I love how everything is draped. Great mini dresses and I LOVE that cropped coat/minidress combination. See my post for his show for Fall 2006 here.

India Fashion Week

I know, I know, I’ve been seriously neglecting this… work has been utterly crazy this month. But, anticipate more posts in the upcoming week as Olympus Fashion Week begins in New York. I currently am thoroughly enjoying Ms. Spinach‘s coverage of the recent India Fashion Week. So hard to get great photos of those shows here and she has done us all a great service by snapping some fab pics of great stuff she saw coming down the runway. Part One is currently up, I look forward to the rest. Have a great weekend!

Malini Murjani

Malini Murjani’s handbags are quite beautiful. The ones at ShopBop are simply designed with soft leather and chain handles. Malini Murjani also has designed some bags featuring unlikely materials such as agate and unusual finishes on the leather as seen on her official website. Very pretty accessories.

Tora shoulderbag, $656. Lisa tote, $690.

Behnaz Sarafpour for Target’s GO! International

I heart Cheap and Chic. (Moschino, I heart you too.) I have been loving all these Cheap Chic lines lately. Everyday I seem to hear of a new collaboration. Viktor & Rolf + H&M. Vivienne Westwood and Thakoon + Nine West. Love the combinations. This is kind of old news but a preview of the new Behnaz Sarafpour line for Target’s GO! International that’s due out this fall is up on the Target website. Lots of lady-like loveliness that we expect from Behnaz plus lots of lace inspired stuff. I think it’s my favorite yet. (And I so want that coat and that duffel.)

Lace-Trim Cardigan, $29.99. Taffeta Dress, $44.99. Trench Coat, $49.99. Tuxedo Shirt, $19.99. Lace-Print Duffle Bag, $39.99. Silk Georgette Dress, $44.99. Cropped Tuxedo Jacket, $44.99. Silk Tank, $24.99. Lace-Patch Skinny Jeans, $34.99.

Anthropologie’s Fall Dressing

The craziness has extended to this week. However, I just got the new email from Anthropologie for the Fall Dressing catalog (which, no doubt, will be waiting for me when I get home today.) and it literally made me stop what I was doing. In true Anthro fashion, the stylists for the new dresses catalog rock and the clothes…. well. The clothes are exquisite. I had a devil of a time figuring out which spread to show and settled on the above. The dress on the right is an absolute stunner. (And that model as well. Gorgeous!) Okay. Now back to the grind…

Lover

The clothes at Aussie brand Lover are so beautifully made. Great fabrics, great styles. The current Spring/Summer 2006 Collection is very beautiful. There are some key pieces in the Fall Collection that are amazing as well and I love that there are separate collections for the Northern and Southern Hemisphere. Lovely typographic website as well.
