Monique Lhuillier’s collection seemed a bit different than what we’re used to seeing from her. This time, lots of short dresses with a kind of severity. I did like the embellishments on the short dresses. We’re seeing an awful lot of metallics for the fall season, I’m noticing.

I don’t know what it is but I was totally getting a Little Red (Black) Riding Hood vibe from that first look. I’m kinda loving it. Again, with the short dresses… I’m noticing a lot of designers this season are showing minidresses.

Naeem Khan (who I just found out created those great sparkly dresses for the Dreamgirls finale) sent out some great dresses as part of his fall 2007 collection. I really liked the jeweled necklines and the long flowy fabrics.
