Mahar Dry Goods

I received a wonderful email from Robert Mahar of Mahar Dry Goods and after visiting the shop I had to post about it. The items available are all handcrafted by artists, designers and crafters for children. There are some really luscious things available… I especially love all the stuff that’s done in felt. One of my favorites is the Celebration Suitcase that contains a felt piece of cake, a little plush “I Eat Cake” monster from Fishcakes and a gorgeous one-of-a-kind card made from vintage children’s book illustrations. Beautiful!

Freddy & Ma

I love the freedom to choose at Freddy & Ma… you choose the bag shape, fabric and detailing and they’ll produce it for you. The variety of patterns available is astonishing as are the patterns themselves. The website has a fantastic interface that makes it quite simple to order. I love it all… gift certificates would make great gifts for bridesmaids. (via Outblush)

The above purses came to $165 each.

Ilee

Gorgeous watercolor illustrated wedding invites at Ilee. They also do some lovely hand calligraphy and monograms. Love the illustrations of the little buildings and all the botanical work. (of course!) Great color, delicate brushwork. Lovely lovely lovely.

Gingeroot

Love the pieces at Gingeroot. Simply made with stones in stunning colors. Love the wires and love the chunkiness of it all.

Anthropologie’s Early Fall Collection

I got the latest Anthropologie catalog in the mail yesterday and totally loved all the clothes in it. (as usual, I suppose.) It’s been so hot in New York I’m craving a cool breeze and crisp Autumn day like nothing else. Anthropologie showed beautiful nubby sweaters and blouses, gorgeous trousers and fabulous shoes. The photography is as always amazing. Love the shots for the home goods… Their stylists are so good. Love it all.

Left Lady Tresses Button-Up, $98 under the Pendulum Vest, $98 with Farrier Trousers, $278 and Epherma Flats, $498. Right Portrait Jacket, $248 and Blue Cult Elite Trousers, $278 with Epherma Flats, $498.

Wild Garden

The limited-edition tees at Wild Garden are beautifully hand-screened with botanical-inspired prints. I love the placement of the graphics as well as the color combinations and the cuts of shirts available. Wild Garden has shirts for women, men, and children as well as adorable little shoppers. Beautiful work.

Floss, $31.50. Winter Blossom, $31.50.
