Spied a preview of Gryson for Target in Harper’s Bazaar and got a little excited. I’m curious to see these in person as imitation patent leather could get a bit plastic-looking in person. Launch date is only reported as sometime in 2008 but I’m thinking maybe early Spring since the product pages are already being set up on Target.com.

Loved the punches of fuchsia in the gray, black and white scheme. These patterns rock!

Love the fashion photos for the floaty Spring gowns over at New York Magazine as a part of this week’s Spring Fashion issue. The color in itself is stunning. I’m so excited for this season.

Absolutely love the styling and new photography for J. Crew’s Spring campaign. All shot in Italy, the clothes are perfectly showcased as well as the iconic surroundings.

The Pirelli tire company’s famous calendar is out now for 2008. Shot by Patrick Demarchelier in Shanghai, it features models such as Gemma Ward, Coco Rocha, Catherine McNeil, Doutzen Kroes and Du Juan.

The website itself is lovely to peruse… see all the calendars shot by legends such as Herb Ritts, Richard Avedon, Peter Lindbergh and Annie Leibovitz. Wish I knew more Italian.

Natasha Law’s book came into the office and I totally loved looking through pages and pages of her fab line drawings. See more of her work at her rep, Breed London. (Breed also reps another of my favorite illustrators, Si Scott.

I went through AIGA’s Year in Design for 2007 yesterday… my favorite category by far was the Book Design category. Over a hundred books are shown here, among them the above two covers.

I absolutely loved the cover for Dead Man’s Float. The book description is as follows: “The main character has suffered a stroke and is relegated to a hospital bed where he floats in a pool of his tragic memories.”

Saw these on Something Old, Something New and totally fell in love. From Nervous System: “Each piece of this series is a unique, one of a kind composition born from the intersection of rapid prototyping and pattern generating algorithms. Tiny circles of varying sizes are aggregated into complex configurations that mimic the natural forms of corals and seaweeds.”

I love delicate yet graphic jewelry… especially in gold. I also especially love the fact that anyone can play with the software that generates these designs and order a one-of-a-kind piece. So sweet!
