Johnny Miller Part One

Spied the portfolio of Johnny Miller and recognized his fabulous work for Kate Spade. Who doesn’t love a bit of retro collage? (via Armas Design)

I loved these photos by Christopher Griffith for his new book, Blown. The images are of discarded tires collected along the major highways of America. The book is published in an edition of 2000 and is signed by the artist. Buy it for $75 through Dashwood Books in NYC. (via The Moment)

I’ve been digging through swipe and found shots from last Spring’s Le Monde d’Hermès, featuring Lakshmi Menon and lots of vibrant purple. Love this color.
Sigh. Purple.

I’ve been loving Eric Ray Davidson‘s Fashion Week Diary over on the T:Style blog for the New York Times.

Loved this shot from the Fall Fashion Guide from the current issue of New York Magazine shot by Rodney Smith. Watch the behind-the-scenes video for the shoot here.

Loved the hard-bound books that Kim offers at Good Stock… going through the custom books is very inspiring. Loved the custom book she made for the man who wrote letters through his life and always signed them, “Always, James” … the bindings look so gorgeous as well.
It seems that soon, she’ll be offering totally elegant accordion photo books. I really loved the way she’s executed these books. Be sure to also check out the gorgeously designed book templates as well. (via Jordan)
Accordion books will be offered soon through Good Stock.
